This is perhaps the most extraordinary and preposterous story I have ever published, or that has been published in years. The fate of humanity and the Earth hangs largely on the activities of 90 companies. Think about that. Then ask yourself how is it that we lack the political well to do anything truly meaningful about this. Please also pass this on. It is important that as many people as possible know this.

Chevron, Exxon and BP among companies most responsible for climate change since dawn of industrial age, figures show. The analysis, which has been published in the journal Climatic Change.

I have been thinking about this story all day. If one out of two babies born in the U.S. will be autistic by 2025, if the present trend continues, what kind of world can that be? In 2013 the number of live births in the U.S. was 3,952,840. as described this would mean 1,976,420 autistic children. Within a generation the care of these millions would consume the nation. This is completely insane. Say the estimate is 50% off. It would still be 19,764,200 in 20 years. All of this damage in the service of profit.

Monsanto’s Herbicide Linked To Groundwater Contamination

In a groundbreaking study published in the journal Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry last year, evidence surfaced that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the Monsanto’s patented herbicide Roundup, is flowing freely into the groundwater in areas where it is being applied.1 The researchers found that 41% of the 140 groundwater samples taken from Catalonia Spain, had levels beyond the limit of quantification – indicating that, despite the manufacturer’s claims, glyphosate herbicide does not break down rapidly in the environment, and is accumulating there in concerning quantities.
