Inclusionality

Evolving Co-creatively, Beyond Conflict.

A place to encourage our understanding of space
in the fluid flow of nature.

Is it possible to understand what gets in the way of human understanding?

That is the question we are asking ourselves as we invite you to participate in the development and communication of a natural awareness that we call ‘inclusionality'.

We think that inclusional understanding , a natural capability that can be “re-awakened” in all of us, can radically transform the way we think, feel and behave, enabling us to live more harmoniously in sustainable dynamic relationship with our living space and one another.

Phi Beta Iota: Al Gore cancelled a well-paid appointment in Copenhagen (he gets $150,000 a up, or used to) and he continues to refuse debates (we've encouraged Sarah Palin to go after him).  Still, there are so many people out there that do not read books and cannot think for themselves that he is sending emails inviting one and all to comment on the RepowerAmerica “wall.”  Go for it!

Mass Balance

What is Mass Balance?

The mass balance concept is based on the fundamental physical principle that matter can neither be created nor destroyed. Therefore, the mass of inputs to a process, industry or region balances the mass of outputs as products, emissions and wastes, plus any change in stocks, hence the term ‘mass balance' is used to describe this type of analysis. When applied in a systematic manner this simple and straightforward concept of balancing resource use with outputs can provide a robust methodology for analysing resource flows.

Life Cycle Assessment
Life Cycle Assessment

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool used to evaluate the potential environmental impact of a product, process or activity throughout its entire life cycle by quantifying the use of resources (“inputs” such as energy, raw materials, water) and environmental emissions (“outputs” to air, water and soil) associated with the system that is being evaluated.

LCA is Not Risk Assessment. This is because LCA does not consider exposure, which is critical for assessing risk. LCA quantifies emissions, but the actual impacts of those emissions depend on when, where and how they are released into the environment.

Corruption Chronicles is a labor of love by one citizen, and is replicated tens of thousands of times around the world.  Goggle does not provide the needed architecture for being able to aggregate and then de-aggregate this kind of information by name, place, event, and so on, but the day is coming when the public will be able to amass and share better information about anyone in public service than the government bureacracies are now able to amass on indviduals.  It's the difference between Weberian cetralization with its knowledge cubbies, and open decentralization with its infinite linkages.  To understand this concept, start with David Weinberger's Everything Is Miscellaneous–The Power of the New Digital Disorder.

There is only one “think tank” we pay constant attention to, only one that consistently produces worthwhile relevant information tailored to the needs of those of us concerned about national security writ whole.

Here ar just a few of their recent publications, click on the logo to browse their formidable collection of contributing authors and faculty.

The bottom line: Governments and standing armies are now severely vulnerable to self-organizing private, non-governmental, and criminal (both white collar and organized crime) endeavors that refuse to accept the legitimacy–or the efficacy–of government per se.  In intelligence terms, this means that neither force nor money nor any other instrument of national power is sufficent of itself.  Instead, governments must become a trusted service of common concern in the arena of multinational multifunctional information-sharing and sense-making.  Governments must ride the wave as both Harrison Owen and Steve Arnod suggest; the wave cannot be controlled by top-down unilateral endeavors with short-term selfish goals.  See the image below the SSI short list of publications.
