Carl Herman has written a fine report below that Paul Craig Roberts also noticed and applauded. I may join this case at the Appeals level. The original judge is clearly in grotesque error (if not active corruption) on multiple counts, I expect the appeals court to do a “de novo” review and send this to trial.

President Trump should not back down on including the citizenship question in the census because it is the census, not any other source of information, that is used to apportion congressional districts. Right now the census is rigged to count ALL voting age individuals, including illegal aliens and foreigners.
The President probably knows that California would lose four seats and New York at least two seats if the census were allowed to distinguish between voting age CITIZENS and all others. There also does not appear to be a provision for apportionment that recognizes the 72 million young people who will become voters after the census takes place.
