The War Party Is At It Again

There is only one party in Washington, D.C., and it’s the War Party. And they are at it again.

Trade a Democrat for a Republican; trade a liberal for a conservative: It doesn’t matter. The War Party remains in charge either way. The people who thought they were voting for Donald Trump because he would extricate America from these endless foreign wars should realize by now that he is just another wuss for the War Party.

Trade Talks Must Succeed

Thirty years ago, President George Bush hustled Americans along the road to a “new world order,” code words meaning an end to nations with elected representative governments. Bush 41 put the North American Free Trade Agreement into place, and his protégé and successor, President Bill Clinton, admitted China to the World Trade Organization in 1995. These two deals obtained cheap, foreign-made goods for U. S. consumers, but undercut the crucial employment of the U. S. industrial-manufacturing base. Combining this glaring flaw with unsound Keynesian monetary policies implemented by the Federal Reserve has produced extreme concerns which now require balancing the foreign trade current account and reforming U. S. currency based on sound money principles.

ROBERT STEELE: Worth a full read. Mike Morrell is afraid, and so he should be, because it will become immediately clear that the analysts were not allowed to do their job and were told what their conclusions would be before hand — just as Robert Gates did back in the day. DoJ should give  the CIA analysts full immunity and demand one on one accounts backed up by a polygraph.  Bill Binney and I called this bullshit on day one from the cheap seats, and history has proven us correct.  CIA analysts are not stupid — they know a con job from John Brennan when they see one. That Directorate of Analysis leaders did not have the stones to stand up to John Brennan will surprise no one at all.

The system is broken, and the managerial elite will keep it broken because it serves their interests to keep it broken.

Changing elected officials does nothing to dislodge our managerial elite overlords. The new mayor, governor or president comes and goes, and all the major institutions–education, higher education, healthcare, national defense, critical infrastructure–continue down the same path of enriching entrenched insiders while the institution fails its core missions.
