Al Jazeera America has produced a damning TV documentary on Israel's deliberate and unprovoked attack on the U.S.N.S. Liberty, a WWII Navy liberty ship that had been converted into electronics snooper to support the NSA by listening in on other nation's electronic transmissions.  The attack occurred in international waters, in clear weather, at 2PM on 8 June 1967, the fourth day of Israel's six day war, just prior to the Israeli shift of its main effort to the northern front in Syria (which resulted in Israel's capture of the Golan Heights, a move President Johnson had urged the Israelis not to make).

The story of this attack, its cover up, and the sellout of the American crew members by the U.S. politicians and the U.S. Navy is one of the most disgusting in the annuals of American military history.

Obama Promised a “World Without Nuclear Weapons,” But May Now Spend $1 Trillion on Upgrades

A recent New York Times investigation found the United States is on pace to spend as much as $1 trillion over the next three decades to modernize its nuclear arsenal and facilities. This week, more than 150 countries at the United Nations signed a joint statement calling on nuclear powers to attend the third major conference on the humanitarian impact of nuclear weapons scheduled this December in Vienna. The United States has yet to attend one of the meetings.

America’s Weaponization of Ebola

Wayne MADSEN | 24.10.2014 | 00:00

Evidence has recently surfaced in a 2009 U.S. embassy Berlin cable to the U.S. State and Defense Departments that German authorities hesitated to send hemorrhagic fever cultures to the suspected biological warfare laboratory at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) in Fort Detrick, Maryland because the Germans feared the Army might «weaponize» the cultures.

The cable, classified as «Sensitive», is dated December 15, 2009 and states:

I think article below is spot on, but I also don't think it will matter.  Given the current national trajectory, it will take another Kasserine Pass, another Task Force SMITH, to get America to pay attention to T.R. Fehrenbach (“… young men in the mud. …”), to the eternal truth that the ultimate arbiter of foreign policy and international diplomacy is a man with a rifle and bayonet.  And then, the refresher learning will only be transient.  I hate to be present Santana as an inviolable sage with respect to history, but I's sure this is one of those cases where he is right. And, in the interim, funds and focus will be diverted to trendy left-wing social issues. …

When America Realizes It Needs the Army, It'll Need It Really Bad

A small Army is smart until it's not
