Here is what I consider to be excellent news. As opposed to the Keystone pipeline which will create a few thousand jobs in the construction phase but only 35 — yes count'em — 35 jobs on an ongoing basis, solar is creating thousands of jobs, and will for decades to come.

Erik Prince and Bubblin Crude: “Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea”

If you have been following the news recently you would have seen a spate of articles regarding Erik Prince’s latest business venture, Frontier Resources Group.

At this point those who follow PMSC issues should all know who Erik Prince is. But for those who have dropped in from Mars suffice it to say that he is cofounder and former CEO of the well-known private security firm formerly known as Blackwater, then Xe Services, and now Academi.

Prince recently became chairman of FRG, a Hong Kong-listed company of which China’s state-backed investment fund Citic owns 15 per cent. According to the Oman Observer, Prince himself has share options in the firm that would convert to a 9 per cent stake.

Consider this Phase 2 in Mr. Prince’s evolution and public image rebranding in his post-Blackwater era.

This is what is coming. The issue is not if, but how we will react.

This transition, in my view, is also part of the End of White Dominance Trend. A great deal of American politics today, as I have repeatedly noted, arises from the existential crisis in which, for the first time since Jamestown and the Mayflower, being born White will not automatically confer privilege. For many, particularly in the South, this causes enormous stress. Having the largest economy in the world be an economy of non-Whites will just add to this.

Radiation is a rather tricky enemy. You cannot see it, you cannot smell it yet it’s harmful for our ecosystem, our markets and our bodies. The Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster is still making headlines but no one knows the full truth about the ultimate impact of this accident. We should prepare for the worst case scenario, writes American democracy activist Harvey Wasserman in his article “50 Reasons We Should Fear the Worst from Fukushima”.

Impact of Fukushima a serious problem and deserves serious discussion and action however it is being kept out of the public eye thanks to Japan’s censorship and a global corporate media blackout, writes Mr. Wasserman in the first of his two part series at EcoWatch. The “see no evil, pay no damages” mindset dates back from the Bombing of Hiroshima.

Nuclear industry is a big business which doesn't want anyone to know what is happening at Fukushima in specific and whole “nuclear” cycle as a whole, underlines the activist.

The impacts of radiation emissions on human and ecological health are unknown primarily because the nuclear industry has resolutely refused to study them.

Monsanto’s Roundup: new deadly scam exposed

Roundup is the Monsanto herbicide that is touted as the cornerstone of GMO food crops. Monsanto claims these crops are genetically engineered to withstand heavy spraying of Roundup.

Therefore, the crops live and the weeds die. Breakthrough.

There are several key lies associated with these claims—but a new one has surfaced.

A study to be published this month indicts Roundup and, in fact, the general class of insecticides and herbicides. On what grounds? When they’re tested for safety, only the so-called “active ingredients” are examined.

The untested ingredients are called “adjuvants,” and they are said to be inert and irrelevant. But the new study concludes this is far from true. The adjuvants are actually there to INCREASE the killing power of the active ingredient in the herbicide or insecticide.

Safety tests don’t take this into account. “Active ingredients” are already toxic, but the adjuvants ramp up their poisonous nature even higher.

And the worst offender is Roundup.
