Time For You To Finally Listen

Mr. President, here is my statement of purpose. I am just a writer, not even by decent standards an “activist.” We supported you four years ago, my estimate producing about 50,000 votes. We are much more than ten times that now. Please ask someone, we, even I, control more votes than you can imagine, more than any newspaper in the United States.

As for some kind of report, please get yourself properly informed as to who your base is and what we expect. We are not the idiots we were, not so many of us. Treating us as such is an epic error.

This week, we watched the NDAA “Soviet America” bill overturned by a court, a bill you signed but said you did so only reluctantly. It was illegal when you signed it and continuing to do things like this, you and congress, is wearing thin. We are losing patience. We don’t even hate you. You made sure of that by cleverly manipulating the GOP into nominating the most hateful, criminal and abysmal candidate in its history.

A Mormon bishop whose religious beliefs are totally inconsistent with freedom, equality, peace and honesty, as president? What could any of them have been thinking?

Romney could actually be a member of the Bush family. Perhaps we should check on that. Running against a crook doesn’t make up for years of smooth talk, of phony “populism” and bowing to special interest. We are totally sick of it and now it is you and the incompetence of those around you that is destroying America and killing us.

Eagle: Digital Citizen Web Application Now Live

• InterAct Launches Digital Citizen Embeddable Web App

The Digital Citizen web app is now live at http://www.digitalcitizen.tv/forum_01/embed.html. The app allows website visitors to post video or text comments, share their comments across social networks and vote up the best contributions. We are proud to be working with The Bay Area News Group’s Oakland Tribune and the Maynard Institute on this first use of the Digital Citizen app, to collect comments for an upcoming forum on gun violence in Oakland, CA.

Over the summer the Digital Citizen app will be used in conjunction with television broadcasters and other journalism organizations, to help citizens speak out on national and local issues.

• The Tea Party – Occupy Connection

“TPOWS” brings Occupy and Tea Party members, independents, centrists, and activists together to find and take action on issues of shared concern. From Tennessee to Oregon, Ft. Wayne to Philly, a growing number of civilized policy discussions and joint efforts are taking place. Digital Citizen has been tracking them at The Tea Party Occupy Connection Chronicle. As the network grows, we will hold a Google+ live webcam “Hangout” event, giving participants across the country a way to connect with each other.

HOW DIGITAL CITIZEN WORKS

Robert Steele: 2012 as a Mind-Shift Year

Corruption, crime, false testimony, lies, are sand in the gears of society. All of our institutions — academia, civil society, commerce, government, law enforcement, media, military, and non-government/non-profit — have lost their integrity and embraced a culture of cheating, corruption, and living lies at every moment. If we are to survive as homo sapiens, we must restore integrity to every aspect of our existence. At multiple levels, the majority of us–including myself–are simply not ready to rise to the opportunities before us, including the salvation of the US political system in 2012, rather than “four more years” of corruption so pervasive it shames us, taints us, for eternity.

Greeting, my name is Bren-Ton. Those of us aboard Athabantian wish to convey the following.

We believe that a major geological event for your planet may occur within the next few days. It will be centered off the Northwestern coast of the United States. It is an event similar to that which you, Mark, described in your book “Decimal.” It will affect the coast and somewhat further inland. We can not predict the full affects of this undersea movement.

Conditions appear to be such that a major disruption could occur along the edge of the Juan de Fuga Plate where it intersects the Pacific Plate, many miles off the coast. There are stresses building there that may cause an earthquake of some magnitude and a resulting tsunami — if they are released in a violent manner. There is the possibility that they may be released more gradually and little will be disrupted. It is not clear to us how things will proceed from this point forward.

It is a natural phenomenon that is part of Earth’s adjustment of her physical form. It involves no nuclear reactor such as was the case off Japan, and because it is a natural, we are not allowed to interfere.

We know, Mark, that you are very reluctant to publish this communication. However we do not wish to delay this warning for those who might be affected.

Ecological Chains Worldwide Being Damaged

Subtle ecological chains worldwide are being damaged by human influence, leading to significant losses of population in different ecosystems.

One of the longest ecological chains ever found has just been discovered in the remote Palmyra Atoll, in the Pacific Ocean. This area is useful to science because there are relatively untouched ecosystems that are in close proximity to human-influenced ones.

Researchers there have now documented how something as simple as replacing native trees with non-native palms can lead to a collapse of seabird, plankton, and manta ray populations around an island.

The findings were almost accidental, as the researchers involved were there for a different study involving manta rays and their predator-prey interactions.

As they were doing the study though, they noticed that the manta rays kept returning to the coastlines of certain islands.

At the same time, a different researcher was in the area doing a study on the effects that non-native palm trees had on seabird communities and native habitats.

While interacting with each other, the overlap of the research began to become apparent.

This adds to the Sears-sized catalog of particularly vile predations the rich ruling class – in the form of private equity investors – imposes on the poor in order to grab every penny and every buck. In this case, they are causing innocent children much physical suffering through fraudulent means. By buying off North Carolina politicians to the tune of at least $1 million, they will most certainly get their way unless there is a public outcry:

Private-equity driven dentists accused of “dentally abusing” poor kids on Medicaid with painful, unnecessary procedures

“Hedge funds in America have backed several dental practices, and Medicaid and parents allege that this has led to a rash of “dental abuse” of poor children, who are seen by dentists at school, without parental consent, for invasive and painful (and expensive) procedures performed by dentists. Critics say the dentists have to meet quotas in order to attain the valuations set by the private equity funds who call the shots. A North Carolina bill aimed at fighting this practice is being fought by three funds (Leonard Green, Court Square Capital Partners, and Levine Leichtman Capital Partners) who've raised $1.1 million to kill it.”

This car runs on the ultimate emissions-free fuel: air.

In 2007, Mumbai, India-based Tata Motors signed a licensing deal with Motor Development International, a French design firm. The idea was to build a car that could run on compressed air. Now Tata says it has tested two cars with the engines. The next step is setting up the manufacturing plants to actually build them.
