What Content Management Systems Ring the Chimes of US Government Procurement Teams?

The answer to this question does not require a consultant in content management or, as the insiders term it, CMS. Navigate to Digital Gov’s run down. The list is, like many things about the US government, “unofficial.”   . . .   The list is a sure fire guide for those who want to sell CMS consulting services to government agencies. Any notion of standardization or buying US software seems to be out of fashion.

I have begun planning for a conference to celebrate the 25th anniversary of my ideas being introduced at the McLean Hilton 1-3 December 1992 (OSS '92). My new website, OSE-21.org, will be the conference web site, register there now to see updates as they are posted. Monthly updates will also be provided here at PBI for those subscribed here.

The graphic above will be turned into a coin with two sides, each participant will receive one. We are tentatively planning to also provide each participant with a flash drive containing a complete open source all-source analytic toolkit built around LibreOffice and adding all of the functionalities — all in open source software — from CATALYST.

ROBERT STEELE: Because this post will live forever online, and the topics we will discuss are virtually classified, I offer a more revealing snapshot here with additional details below the fold:

Every official web monitoring system — including so-called “white” portals — has been compromised. Governments (and their contractors) simply do not know what they need to know. As the Deep Web concealment capabilities migrate to the Open Web, the ability to do Passive OSINT without being discovered, and the ability to do Active OSINT online without compromising the official investigation, as well as the ability to detect in near-real-time data breaches using digital fingerprints that scour the Deep Web for replicates of the stolen original documents, become central to proper official exploitation of the Internet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Recommended, Some Flaws, But Many Illustrations and an Easy Read, September 29, 2016

I rate this book as a solid five because it is a very important collection of insights — including a buried but all important indictment of Saudi Arabian Wahhabism and Western Imperialism as the true roots of ISIS. The graphics are so exceptional that I urge the author to offer this book in Kindle form where color graphics and the easy jumps from picture to brief test to picture will make this book twice as valuable as its present form limited to black and white photos.

There is absolutely no question about the author's erudition or integrity. This is a man deeply steeped — as an observing Westerner — in Arabic culture, history, and language; in the political-economic history of the region; in the role of Islam as the foundation and the glue for society and the Islamic economy; and in the contributing factors including the US invasion of Iraq and the US dismantling of the Sunni officer corps in Iraq leading to ISIS. A solid five on intent and substance.

A  YouTube with very compelling evidence that Hillary Clinton could control Lester Holt with a finger to her face signal was seen world-wide via YouTube until it was removed by YouTube citing a copyright claim. The tape showed in very clear fashion how a finger signal from Clinton would yield a move by Holt to bring her into the conversation where she would deliver a pre-scripted “zinger.” A contrary opinion is also provided below.

There is a need to make that data available in a jargon-free format and with guidance on how to use it effectively. A new organization will do just that. On September 22, PREP, the Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness, was launched by the White House Office of Science and Technology PolicyWorld Resources Institute, U.S. Global Change Research Program, and a host of industry supporters including Microsoft and Google. PREP will harness the data revolution to strengthen climate resilience efforts, streamline climate data delivery, and inform researchers and data providers which climate data are most valuable.
