Forbes reports, “Palantir Aiming to Raise $400 Million in New Round.” Writer Ryan Mac tells us that, according to Securities and Exchange Commission documents, a planned round of additional funding could rake in that sum if all shares sell. Mac continues:

Phi Beta Iota: The US Government is the war-monger and making decisions on the basis of corruption and ideology. China is the richest country in the world, has more gold than any other (Russia is second), and China has no reason to provoke war with anyone; the US dollar is about to crash, taking Wall Street with it, and has little gold to supplement a new currency. As a consequence, China is very serious and determined to have peace. It has no navy to speak of, it’s army is dedicated to internal security,and its industry would be badly damaged if there was a war. China is converting its hoard of dollars (and dollar debt) into Euros and other currencies, and in all probability will make the Yuan the common currency of Asia soon, and the world eventually. At root, how a government provides for its public determines whether that government is sustainable or not.

To paraphrase a line from a famous American novel, “The rich are different from you and me. They are practicing pederasts.”
That's what I think of in reading the articles below of the pederast scandal involving billionaire Jeffrey Epstein and the very rich and powerful people who may have used his pedo pimping services, as seen in the articles below, may blow over (especially if Epstein is “suicided”) or expanded if more salacious details emerge. Too soon to say, but one could hope it will expand.
Archaemicrobes are much better than trying to “dissolve” oil with toxic chemical solutions as was done in the Gulf of Mexico. It won’t be pushed by the oil companies (it’s not an oil-based chemical) but it can be imposed by government agencies.

The world is long overdue for a completely new system of governance. If there was ever a need for political representation or a paternalistic and opaque authority, it has been removed by technology. Every political system we have tried has proven incapable of protecting human rights and dignity. Every political system we have tried has devolved into oligarchy. To effect the change we require immediately, to give individuals control and responsibility, to bring regional systems under regional governance, allow global collaboration and protect the heritage of future generations, we need a new political model.
