Deep State snakes slither back after FBI, CIA swamp draining

Intelligence gathered to keep the nation safe and protect the integrity of elections is leaked for the purpose of partisanship. That can only mean new snakes have taken the place of the old ones. Different people, same dirty tricks.

. . . a look at the recent record suggests that having experienced intelligence officials in the post might be why the agencies have gone off the rails. Their loyalty to democracy is suspect, so maybe an outsider can get the system back on track.

Covid-19: Global Retrenchment Will Obliterate Sales, Profits and Yes, Big Tech February 20, 2020

Even before the Covid-19 pandemic, the global economy was slowing for two reasons: 1) everybody who can afford it already has it and 2) overcapacity. One word captures the end-of-the-cycle stagnation: saturation.

Big Tech will not be immune to this implosion of profits. Corporate leadership runs in herds just like consumers, and so corporations hired too many people, signed too many leases, rushed into cloud services and borrowed too much money to buy back shares, a.k.a. “create shareholder value.”
