Statement Regarding the Defiant Battle and the Martyrdom of Sheikh Usama
bin Laden-may Allah have mercy on him
In the name of Allah the Most Merciful the Most Compassionate [Verse]
and prayer and peace upon His prophet [Hadith] and upon his family and
companions who spread the truth with their justice, and preserved the religion with their bodies and shed their blood to raise it, and upon those who walked their path and carried jihad as theirs, and were steadfast like them until the day of judgment, and thereafter:
NIGHTWATCH: Four points are clear. Pakistan is much more concerned about India than about internal terrorism or the Taliban in Afghanistan. Pakistan has many alternatives to the ISI Directorate for managing clandestine arrangements with terrorists. The Intelligence Bureau must be investigated. The timing of all known clandestine arrangements falls within Musharraf's tenure.
Phi Beta Iota: Americans are known in Latin America as “tontos utiles” [useful idiots]. It is inconceivable to anyone who actually knows what living in Asia entails [$1 per static, $2 per mobile surveillant], to conceive of Bin Laden [or anyone else, perhaps in Karachi] being comfortable in Pakistan without the knowledge of the intelligence service and Army Chief of Staff; and it is highly questionable whether the same CIA that self-destructed over Khost Kathy could infiltrate Pakistan when its “norm” was the likes of Ray Davis. As much as we may all want to believe this theatrics, a sufficiency of questions demand investigation.

Phi Beta Iota: In another change to its story, to prove that Bin Laden had in fact been “captured,” the White House today released a photo of Bin Laden with Condi Rice at a safehouse maintained by the Department of State at the South-Central Complex between State and the new US Institute for Peace building. Condi remains Bin Laden's closest ally within Washington circles where both Republicans and Democrats agree: Bin Laden has been the single best bi-partisan brand in decades. The White House did not appear to notice the inconsistency between this photograph and its earlier refusal to publish a photograph of the allegedly dead Bin Laden. Source
In addition, it has now been revealed that the below photograph, previously alleged to be in the situation room with the Bin Laden kill operations on screen, was actually taken at the conclusion of a very hard-fought battle over changes in Old Executive Office Building (OEOB) room assignments. Hillary Clinton is reacting to the announcement that the Indian Treaty Room is now the Boy's Club with cigar smoking permitted at all times.

Phi Beta Iota: This is one of the most extraordinary, erudite, credible, and well-put-together indictments of the CIA and the White House for a variety of false flag attributions to Bin Laden, to include detailed repudiations of CIA translations and detailed repudiations of the figures alleged to be Bin Laden.
I have been told by more than one source that Leon Panetta was directing the operation with both his own CIA operatives, as well as direct contacts with military – both entities were reporting to Panetta only at this point, and not the President of the United States. There was not going to be another delay as had happened 24 hour earlier. The operation was at this time effectively unknown to President Barack Obama or Valerie Jarrett and it remained that way until AFTER it had already been initiated. President Obama was literally pulled from a golf outing and escorted back to the White House to be informed of the mission. Upon his arrival there was a briefing held which included Bill Daley, John Brennan, and a high ranking member of the military. When Obama emerged from the briefing, he was described as looking “very confused and uncertain.” The president was then placed in the situation room where several of the players in this event had already been watching the operation unfold. Another interesting tidbit regarding this is that the Vice President was already “up to speed” on the operation. A source indicated they believe Hillary Clinton had personally made certain the Vice President was made aware of that day’s events before the president was. The now famous photo released shows the particulars of that of that room and its occupants. What that photo does not communicate directly is that the military personnel present in that room during the operation unfolding, deferred to either Hillary Clinton or Robert Gates. The president’s role was minimal, including their acknowledging of his presence in the room.

In my initial communication to you of these events I described what unfolded as a temporary Coup initiated by high ranking intelligence and military officials. I stand by that term.
Phi Beta Iota: It has been well-known since the Cuban Missile Crisis that the President of the USA is not actually in charge, and that the military-industrial complex has its own chain of command. Less well known, but documented in Morton Halperin's still-relevant Bureaucratic Politics and Foreign Policy, is the reality that Rule One in Washington is “Lie to the President if you can get away with it.”
The unredacted Guantanamo files show clearly that the trail to Abbottabad was known to the US intelligence services at least since 2005, when al-Libi, another Abbottabad dweller, was captured.
Timing is everything. The US President announced killing of Osama bin Laden just as Wikileaks completed its publication of Guantanamo files. Was it coincidence? If not, what was the connection?
An answer to this question is directly connected with the cross and double cross accusations exchanged in the murky world where the intelligence services meet mainstream media.
Publication of the US secret papers, the Guantanamo Files, was done almost simultaneously by two competing media groups.
One was the Wikileaks of Julian Assange and their partners The Washington Post, The Daily Telegraph, the French Le Monde.
Another one was The New York Times, The Guardian, the Israeli Haaretz.
Phi Beta Iota: Apart from the presumed fact that Bin Laden actually died in late 2001 and was then “kept alive” as a covert action against the American people, the author provides an absolutely riveting account of how Guantanamo–and Wikileaks–might have played into the fevered minds that thought up the Bin Laden show and–according to our next post–“over-ruled” the President who was reluctant to go along. By the by, although US “covert operations” tend to be fairly stupid, a well-known ruse for influencing presidents is to insert information into puported interrogations and pretend it was extracted. This “political” covert action appears to have been in the planning stages for some time.
