4 Stars — Hit Job on Trump, Destroys Pence

This book buries Mike Pence — ignorant, lazy, delusional, ambitious beyond his abilities. Although I remove one star for the relatively low-brow trashing of our President (Donald Trump), on balance the authors have rendered a stellar public service with this book. Not only will Mike Pence never be President, but if God's plan plays out as I anticipate, he will not be Vice President in 2020.

The authors establish, with excellent references and clear writing, all of the reasons why Mike Pence should be dropped from the Trump ticket in 2020, and ideally be retired even sooner.

There is a book published in 2011 which will provide background and textual substance to the news of the Chinese CRISPr creation of twins, the Neanderthal project on PBS and this recent discussion about cosmic fascism.

It is Genes, Giants, Monsters, and Men: The Surviving Elites of the Cosmic War and Their Hidden Agenda by Joseph P. Farrell and I commend it to you.

It is about “ancient accounts of chimeras and monsters”, and “genetic engineering technology” — including “the engineered creation of mankind itself”. Religions were promoted by these elite engineers “as tools of cohesion, conquest, and a considerable degree of obfuscation; as “commerce and contact between civilization and grew — often fostered by these very same elites —so to did religious agendas change, often violently, but just as often subtly.“

This is the final of three books written by a CIA clandestine operations officer who in my view has created a most extraordinary trilogy that not only should be required reading for every aspiring spy, but is recommended for every citizen as well. 5 Star Combines Lessons with Reading Recommendations

I'm starting to think about how to spend $200M to create an alternative to #GoogleGestapo that connects the President to 200 million eligible voters, and this book jumped to the top of the pile.

It is a fast pleasant read and it delivers both the expected lessons and an unexpected bonus, a very fine integrated list of books he read and gathered lessons from. I've read most of them but it was — for those who do not read as much as I do — a fine added value.

6-Star Deeply Authentic Book About Nuances of Spying

After I read and then reviewed the first book, Red Sparrow, I was so deeply impressed that I immediately ordered the other two, this one and The Kremlin's Candidate, intending to read them on airplanes. That did not last.

This book went to my night-table, then to reading two hours past my bedtime, to last night when I could not put it down and read it until midnight. That is not normal for me, particularly as a former spy who considers most spy books to be utter crap.

This is not only the most authentic and nuanced book I have read about spying and why human intelligence and particularly offensive counterintelligence and covert action matter, but it is spectacularly well put together. The author is gifted in turns of phrase that make you laugh or cry or both.

6 Stars Best New Espionage Everything

I have reviewed over 300 books on intelligence, almost all of them non-fiction. Apart from the George Smiley series by John Le Carre the only other fiction book I can think of that garnered my respect was Tears of Autumn by Charles McCarry.

This book, by a former SE Division (Soviet Division) Operations Officer also known as a Case Officer (C/O) is SENSATIONAL. I bought it at the airport when my planned reading for the return flight turned out to be junk (Life After Google).
