Asked by a Cuban student about the example of his leadership, Francis said, “I will tell you one thing, a good leader is one who is capable of bringing up other leaders. If a leader wants to lead alone, he is a tyrant. True leadership is fruitful. Each one of you has the seed of leadership.” He added, “The leaders of today will not be here tomorrow. If they do not plant the seed of leadership in others, they are worthless. They are dictators.”
US Intel Vets Decry CIA’s Use of Torture
Torture defenders are back on the offensive publishing a book by ex-CIA leaders rebutting a Senate report that denounced the brutal tactics as illegal, inhumane and ineffective. Now, in a memo to President Obama, other U.S. intelligence veterans are siding with the Senate findings and repudiating the torture apologists.

How Neocons Destabilized Europe
The refugee chaos that is now pushing deep into Europe – dramatized by gut-wrenching photos of Syrian toddler Aylan Kurdi whose body washed up on a beach in Turkey – started with the cavalier ambitions of American neocons and their liberal-interventionist sidekicks who planned to remake the Middle East and other parts of the world through “regime change.” Instead of the promised wonders of “democracy promotion” and “human rights,” what these “anti-realists” have accomplished is to spread death, destruction and destabilization across the Middle East and parts of Africa and now into Ukraine and the heart of Europe.

This author has been pretty good over the many months I have been reading his site. He admits to not being able to confirm events. Combine this with China devaluing its currency, the vulnerability of the US to power black-outs, forest fires, water disasters such as the recent gold mine poisoning, and you have the perfect storm — to include WWIII as cover for a final Wall Street looting of the US economy. There are too many emerging signals suggesting that September onwards could be quite troubling for the USA.

Syria, $500 Million to Train 60 Rebels.
The $500 million American project, announced over a year ago, to train and arm a new Syrian rebel army to bring the Islamic State to its knees and force a political settlement on the Syrian regime simultaneously has, to date, trained just 60 fighters.
