This is what NATO and Africa Command call their J-2 over-arching concept.  It is a useful concept, although it needs to be taken several steps further and also needs to be properly funded.  Right now it is a shadow puppet that lacks proper multi-lingual multinational sourcing, processing, and analysis, both human and machine.  Our over-arching concept for is shown here to the left, along with the existing old concept.

INTELLIGENCE is decision-support.  If it is not tailored to and timely enough to support a specific decision, it is not intelligence.  If it lacks integrity in the over-all process of collection (e.g. excluding open sources and sources in languages neither CIA nor DoD can handle), in processing (e.g. not processing 95% of the relevant signals and failing to use drones for imagery integration), or analysis (e.g. failing to do outreach to the other seven tribes and the multinationals), it is not intelligence.

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT  is the combination of increased INTER-DISCIPLINARY (all-source) subject matter expertise, and the increased INTER-DOMAIN (academic disciplines) in tandem, such that the individual is increasingly competent and even imaginative and original in applying what they know to leverage what can be known from others.  It is the foundation for effective INTELLIGENCE.

Jim Dean: Could It Be? Osama Bin Laden’s Son (and Jihad Heir) in USA on a Presidential Over-Ride?

07 Other Atrocities, 09 Terrorism, Corruption, Government, Idiocy

Update 12:55 pm: We have new information that Al-Harbi could not have been back doored into the US without presidential authority. Bypassing a 3-B terrorist watch status is not something an ICE supervisor could have initialed through. We know someone who sponsored an East European nursing student for a visa. The cost? Posting a $1 million bond.

The Bush family has had long and intimate business dealings with the bin Laden family. They bailed George W. out of his short stint in the oil business. They came in to buy out Harken Energy, where it’s subsequent demise went on the bin Laden family tab and was technically off George W’s future presidential resume. Left unresolved was a $50,000 loan to GW which was never repaid, nor reported as income as a forgive loan.

Al-Harbi bin Laden
Al-Harbi bin Laden

How could Bush have done this back then? Easy…a few lines written into a house budget bill could have said any member of the bin Laden family was granted automatic visa status per presidential request, and approved by Congress via hiding the lines in a big bill.

Yes, folks…this kind of stuff is done whenever they want to. That’s why up and coming hustlers want to join the ranks. There is a lot more to this. We will keep posting. Jim Dean.

Oh, no…don’t say I tricked you with the title. This is a news bomb if there ever was one. The Saudi national that Glenn Beck has been making a big fuss over is…Osama bin Laden’s son, Al-Harbi.

This is a response to Owl's post Owl: Public Awake, Major Media Shredded — the Revolution IS Being Televised!

CNN is having ratings problems. If their subterfuge in Boston becomes common knowledge they will loose credibility and even more viewers. It would be a shot fired across the bow of every other news network. All the prominent muck-raking journals, like Mother Jones, the Nation, etc., should work together and make it happen, just like a blitz in football where everyone goes after the quarterback at once. They're already doing it, but they need to hit CNN hard, gang up on them! It may be a long time before there's another golden opportunity like this. CNN is down right now. With a behemoth like that, this is the best time to kick the crap out of them. And there's no mistaking the fact that they deserve it and in fact are inviting it by their repeated breaches of journalistic ethics. If the shoe was on the other foot they would be kicking the crap out of the little guy. It goes with the territory. They knew the rules when they started playing the game. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

How The Boston Bombing Is Already Being Exploited To Introduce Tyranny

EXTRACT

The point of a false flag is to frighten the population of any given nation into relinquishing freedom in the name of safety, which in the process gives the central government even more control. In the wake of the Boston attack, the establishment is having a field day…

Eagle: International Consortium of Investigative Journalists May Look at Corrupt Judges in Foreclosure Cases, Beginning in Maryland

300 Million Talons…

This study and a wide variety of email and wiki posts may be a tipping point that puts the full weight of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists into the battle against corrupt judges in the pockets of the banks — specifically, judges that have been ruling against individual home owners being illegally foreclosed, refusing to grant their motions for presentation of the actual mortgage document.  Despite laws being passed that demand exactly that, the judges are being paid to ignore those laws.

Search: how much humint is clandestine — Response by Robert Steele + Clandestine Meta-RECAP

ROBERT STEELE:  I have been watching with growing concern as Phi Beta Iota has posted a string of relatively radical posts on the Boston bombing and Texas fertilizer explosion.  As most know, I lean toward transparency, truth, and trust, and the last thing I would want to do is marginalize these voices for truth and trust as I have been marginalized these past six years. My focus now that my clearances have been justly reinstated is to get out of town — to find the toughest job in the darkest corner and vanish.  Have brain will travel.  Having said that, this search is important and merits a broad response that ties everything together in context.

The short answer, if you accept my pioneering concept of the “fifteen slices,” as cleared by CIA and DoD and offered up in Human Intelligence:  All Minds, All Languages, All the Time (US Army Strategic Studies Institute, June 2010), is that clandestine Human Intelligence (HUMINT), one of the four secret slices, is 6.6% of the totality of HUMINT and should receive 13.2% of the budget.  In my view, HUMINT has failed miserably on two fronts: leveraging Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) for spotting and assessing as well as post-recruitment vetting and validation; and in pointedly questioning the value of the technical disciplines that produce so little — that compare very poorly with HUMINT/OSINT in relation to the investments made and the processing not done.

HUMINT CIA OK

HUMINT DoD OK with two changes

Here below is the original graphic I created after being interviewed for DISL HUMINT at DIA (not selected or I would be invisible), the central graphic for the above monograph — I post the clearance letters above because there are still too many that fail to understand my deep commitment to doing the right thing.

Theophillis Goodyear: Alan Nordstrom on What Wisdom Requires

Culture, Ethics
Theophillis Goodyear
Theophillis Goodyear

A very concise and salient, 213 word essay on wisdom, by Alan Nordstrom:

What Wisdom Requires

eight high points:

1. regulate our behavior sanely and rationally

2. comprehend the consequences of our decisions and customs

3. practice kindness toward others who are similarly struggling to thrive

4. practice humane behavior and transcend the brute instinct to conquer and dominate

5. act according to the principle of kinship and reciprocity: treat others as one wishes to be treated

6. act according to the principle of cooperation and partnership rather than conquest

7. cultivate the higher-order intellectual potential that human beings possess

8. manifest truth, beauty, and goodness
