Author says ‘you can't underestimate the dangers' of Ivanka Trump, Kushner

The author of a new book focused on the President's daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner's influence in the Trump administration warns of the danger she believes the two White House advisers present.

“I think that you can't underestimate the dangers of these two,” Vicky Ward, the author of “Kushner, Inc.,” told CNN's John Berman Wednesday during an interview on “New Day.” “And I think that actually (President Donald Trump) knows that.”

Who Is Assisting China in Its Technology Push?

Digging in this field of inquiry, one can learn how the Israeli company ā€œflowsā€ US intelligence-related technology from the US and elsewhere through an intermediary so that certain surveillance systems in China can benefit directly from what looks like technology developed in Israel.

Who Do Jared and Ivanka Think They Are?

New York Times

As political actors, the couple are living exemplars of the Dunning-Kruger effect, a psychological phenomenon which leads incompetent people to overestimate their ability because they canā€™t grasp how much they donā€™t know.

Partly, the Jared and Ivanka story is about the ā€œreality distortion fieldā€ ā€” a term one of Wardā€™s sources uses about Kushner ā€” created by great family wealth. She quotes a member of Trumpā€™s legal team saying that the two ā€œhave no idea how normal people perceive, understand, intuit.ā€ Privilege, in them, has been raised to the level of near sociopathy.

If you have recently consideredĀ deleting your FacebookĀ account,Ā boycotting AmazonĀ or trying to find anĀ alternative to Google, you are certainly not alone. The tech giants areĀ invading our privacy, misusing our data, stranglingĀ economic growthĀ and helping governmentsĀ spy on us. Yet because these few companies dominate so many of the Internetā€™s key services, it seems there isĀ little people can doĀ to avoid having to interact with them if they want to stay online.
